Dubai with Family: What to See and Where to Stay



Dubai is more well known to the World as a luxurious destination, affordable and meant for the rich. Disregarding the money factor, it however offers many recreational centres, thus potentialising a perfect destination for the entire family. With the delineated hot and arid climate typical of a desert land, there is no dearth of indoor and outdoor activities that you cannot enjoy. The land of liquid gold is also turning out to be the theme-park capital of the world. With all the fun and dynamic games meant for the adults and teenagers as well, there are also activities specifically designed for younger kids in almost every theme park.

1.  IMG World of Adventure


IMG World of Adventure is the world’s biggest adventure park given it's huge spread over an equivalent area of 28 football fields. It has mainly four zones namely, the house to the superheroes of Marvel, the out-of-the ordinary Cartoon Network, the beasty Lost World of dinosaurs, and the IMG Boulevard. IMG World also boasts of screening 3D IMAX movies. 


So how about watching the latest Avengers: Endgame there and watch your kid jump with excitement when the Avengers assemble at Captain America's call.  As an adult too, you could feel the goosebumps when the screen lights up with the army of the Universe's mightiest heroes against Thanos.

2.  Aquaventure Waterpark


Just the sight of mega long and big crazy slides will light up your adrenaline quotient. Be it a novice to the waters or an adrenaline junkie, you will love to splash your way through this water park. Some rides in this waterpark will test your courage and can be scary. But older kids will love these the most. Just drift in the tube along the river before you splash in to water. Cool off in the blue waters of the Aquarium Dive, or play in the Dolphin Adventure, you are sure going to love the rides and make your trip with your family a memorable one.

3.  Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo


Located in Dubai Mall, Dubai aquarium is a three storey aquarium that holds world record for being the largest aquarium in the world. It holds 10 million litre water and is house to over 30,000 marine animals. Home to different species of animals, this aquarium has the largest collection of sand sharks, rays, and piranhas. The 27 feet tube that allows you to see these aquatic beauties from all side will leave you mesmerized. You can also enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving in this aquarium. Don’t forget to visit the king croc in the underwater zoo when here, it is one of the best things to do in Dubai with family along with plethora of attractions.

4.  Bollywood Parks Dubai


Inspired by Mumbai’s legendary movie industry Bollywood, this is a five-section blended into one venue, having all the hues of the Indian cinema. The five zones are namely- Bollywood Boulevard wherein most of the live shows break grounds on the arena, get a taste of the Mumbai street-foods at Mumbai Chowk, live the role of native Indian hero at Rustic Ravine, dance to the visual display of lights at Royal Plaza and relive Bollywood movies' "behind the screen" at Bollywood Film Studios. 5.  Motiongate Dubai


Alike Bollywood Parks, the Motiongate Dubai is rather a mini Hollywood. It is as if all of Hollywoods Motion pictures has come into life here. 6.  Ski Dubai


Located in the Mall of Emirates, Ski Dubai is an indoor ski resort spread over 22500 sq. mts. The little Princess Elsa-s and Jack Frost-s in your families can make snow balls and have fun with each other, and you be the Olaf. 7.  Desert Safari

  3. Oh Dubai! i loved it there so much, I visited all the 7 places and, man, I liked each. My favorite is the desert though, there is a fantastic cycling trek, I loved so much cycling on a perfectly paved cycling road surrounded by piles of sand everywhere

  10. The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo must be amazing! Everywhere I visit in the U.S. for more than a week, I usually would make a stop at any aquarium available.
